Pennies Tex-Mex Takeout is a family owned and operated business. We bring the finest blend of Texas Hill Country Style & Mexican Barbecue (Barbacoa) to beautiful Galveston Island. Our grandmother, Mrs. Pennie, has a recipe for the best and most authentic tamale you will find in the state of Texas and we are still able to perfect them with each dozen. Our Texas Barbecue is cooked with all our own original rubs, We smoke it right on location with nothing but wood!
